Who We Are

The CliftonCERT.com Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is a group of volunteers dedicated to helping our community prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies. We are trained to assist emergency responders in a variety of situations, including:

• Disasters (natural or man-made)
• Fires
• Floods
• Power outages
• Search and rescue
• Traffic control

What We Do

CERT members receive training in a variety of emergency response skills, including:

• Fire safety and suppression
• First aid and CPR
• Search and rescue techniques
• Disaster preparedness
• Team organization
• Incident management

We also work to educate the community about emergency preparedness and how to stay safe in an emergency.

Why We Do It

We are a group of ordinary citizens who want to make a difference in our community. We believe that by working together, we can be better prepared to respond to emergencies and help our neighbors in need.
